CHERIE SMITH, FNP-BC
I grew up in Clio and have lived in Birch Rug for past 30 years. My original Diploma in nursing was from Hurley School of Nursing in 1990.
I received my BSN from Excelsior College in New York in 2011 and My MSN with a certificate in Family Practice from Saginaw Valley State University in 2014. I became board certified in Family practice in 2015. I have worked in NICU & Hurley for 22 years, Pediatric & Adult home care for 4 years as an RN.
I have been a provider in House call & family practice and 10 years in urgent care before coming to Hope to combine my two loves of family practice and urgent care. I'ma married mother of 2 grown children and if I have spare time I like to knit and go to the
gym.
TREATMENT
At Hope Urgent Care, we provide patients with a wide range of urgent care services. We are a convenient ER alternative for non-life threatening ailments and injuries when your doctor’s office is closed or can’t see you. We diagnose and treat accidents and illnesses of adults and seniors, and we specialize in treating pediatric patients.
INJURY
Our walk in clinic also provides care for work related injuries and auto injuries. Work notes are provided to the patients after their clinical evaluations. We provide DOT physicals as well.
EXPERIENCE
Our team of doctors are Board Certified and experienced in the field of Urgent care, providing care at all levels. Hope Urgent Care also provides on-site laboratory and radiology services.
